Something I made for a friend of mine ^w^
I'm still learning myself, but I guess it doesn't hurt to share what I've learned so far

My style is an anime-ish style too, but I decided to include that shoujo-ish style as well, just so you could compare the similarities and differences (and figure out whatever's easier for ya). I personally find the shoujo style harder, but that's just me.
Yes, that is Chibi Ichigo (there are a lot of different chibi styles, but after trying a lot of them this was my personal favorite X3 )
I find females so hard to draw

I learned a LOT (seriously, like 60% of what I know), from She made a TON of useful drawing and anatomy tips, so if you haven't already, go check her out!
I also learned quite a bit by finding what I liked most about my favorite manga styles. For me, I always liked the Kuroshitsuji, Bleach, Death Note, etc. styles best, so I studied those a lot.
There's no definite style for anyone to follow. What works for certain artists might not work for others, just do whatever works best for you.
Don't get discouraged if it's hard to get proportions right and stuff. I used to be like, "How the hell can they call that a quick sketch and it comes out proportionate so easily for them?!" But after lots and lots of sketching, it really did get easier for me. So don't give up and keep at it!

PS: I forgot to mention, please don't think this is exactly how anatomy is supposed to be, this is just my style and there are bound to be mistakes. If you want really accurate proportions, it's best to study actual human anatomy!

Edit: As a few deviants have pointed out, the foreheads might look a little wrong, but it's mainly because I normally just cover them with hair xD Also, my style isn't completely anatomically correct, but I wasn't really going for realism, I just wanted to point out some basic tips that some might find useful Sorry for any confusion, and thank you for the critiques a few of you gave! They help me improve, so if I ever make something like this again I'll be able to make it more accurate ^^

Edit3: Fixed the placement of the eyes on the top two rows, and lowered the lady's breasts some. I'm sure there's more mistakes in here, but those were the main points people were pointing out, so I hope it's a little better now Also, thank you for all the faves/comments/critiques! They all mean very much to me~ (I still can't believe how popular this got, omg O.o )
